A music lab for folk drums and performances - parai, dhol, dhollu kunitha, kamsale kunitha and chenda - that evolved into an experience of composing and directing. So much was learnt that the foundation was laid for an exciting production bringing together the classical and folk traditions. More to come!

As part of Urja Thakore’s production ROOH: Within Her, Prathap’s compositions delve into themes of identity and femininity, underscoring his sensitivity to thematic storytelling through music.

Prathap performed as the mridangist for Life in Progress, the final world tour of the legendary Sylvie Guillem choreographed by the world-renowned Akram Khan. One of Prathap’s capstone adaptations of Carnatic percussion to contemporary dance, he contributed to this critically acclaimed performance that toured internationally.
